Physical Education Basic Requirements:
NO DRESS DAYS: A student's grade will go down 3 points for each no dress day that occurs. Each day a student can receive up to 2 points for participation.
PARENT NOTES: If a student is going to sit out of class for an injury they need a parent note to excuse them. However, the student must make up what they have missed.
MEDICAL NOTES: If a student is going to be out of participation for more than two days then a medical note is required. This is for the protection of the student and teacher.
GRADING: 75% of a student's grade is based upon class participation. Students need to be dressed for class, participate to their best ability, treat others with respect, and follow classroom and safety rules. 25% of a student's grade is based upon written tests and skills in the various units that are being taught. Grades will be posted outside my office door every other Friday (student numbers are needed and no names will appear on the cumulative grade sheet).
FRESHMEN CLASSES: Students will be in three different types of units per quarter. For example, in the first quarter the class will be in Flag Football, Softball and Badminton.
PREPARATION HOUR: 2nd hour and I have tutorial is 7th hour.
