IMPORTANT REMINDERS

"What Days Do I Have Physical Education?"

It is important to remember on what days you have Physical Education.  On these days remember to wear proper clothing.  Wear clothes that you can move easily in and that are safe.  Jewelry, if dangerous, may have to be removed.

The proper footwear is very important to your child's safety and development.  Participation in many of the Physical Education activities is impossible without the proper shoes.  The proper shoes offer support and protection for you child's feet, their classmates, and the gym floor.  Please remember to send your child to school with the right shoes on their P.E. days.  If the weather calls for boots or sandals, time will be allowed for them to change into their gym shoes, so don't forget to pack your shoes in your back pack.  Unfortunately if your child forgets they may not be allowed to participate in certain activities.

If you would like to have your child  excused from P.E. on a specific day please send a note with your child to school.  It is sometimes best to have them sit out if they just got over being sick or hurt.  Medical Excuses are needed for your child if they will be missing several weeks of Physical Education.  If you have any questions or other concerns please let me know.  If you would like to send a note via e-mail you can send it to me at Nicol.Brumme@gpschools.org
