Tree Planting
Mr. Buckman's Second Grade Class
In May, our second grade conducted a "Soap Sale" in the school to learn and use concepts of economics.  The sale went very well.  We decided to use the profits to benefit the school grounds by adding two trees to the front yard at Trombly.  Mr. Harrigan gave a list of some varieties of trees that he thought would look good it the space.  After a lot of discussion, he asked Mr. Buckman to buy two Pink Profusion Flowering Crabapple trees.  Wednesday morning, June 13, Mr. Buckman's wife brought the trees to Trombly and helped the class plant them.  The pictures below show the class, hard at work, planting their soap sale profits.  Well done, class!  Thank you, Mrs. McCaughrin, for taking the pictures.

Note: The pictures may take some time to load, so please be patience.
