Our Haiku Poetry
Mr. Buckman's Second Grade Class
The class studied about the form of haiku poetry.  This three lined, 5 syllable, 7 syllable, 5 syllable poem, is most likely written about topics involving nature.  It is useful in practicing the use of describing words and identifying syllables in words.  Here are some of the student's haiku poetry.
