Mr. Buckman's Second Grade Class
It was the middle of November
and the students were going to write stories for Thanksgiving. But what
kind of stories to write? The class decided to write a set of
stories that all had the same main character. After a few
suggestions and a class vote or two, they decided that Albuquerque
Turkey should be the name of their fictional character. Each
student then chose a setting, followed the writing process and created a
