		I Like Insects Writing The students used patterned writing to create their own poem about insects. Look carefully in the poems and you will see that many students were able to include one or two couplets in their writing.
		Halloween, 2003 Every picture tells a story. What does this picture say to you?
		Halloween Songs The students write their own Halloween songs to a familiar tune.
		Class Winter Poem The students contributed couplets to create a class poem about winter.
		The Life of Martin Luther King, Jr. The students learned about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. They gathered information from books, posters and streamed video and on-line. They each took a part of his remarkable life and produced a paragraph and a picture which was put together into a presentation about his life. We hope you like it.

		Weather Reports The students studied about air and weather in science. They applied their knowledge of science and technology by creating and presenting Internet weather reports from our Trombly Weather Center. Reports were made from March 1 to March 5, 2004.
