| While in the middle of a math
unit on graphing, the students took time to answer THE question college
football fans have on their minds: Which team will win the University of
Michigan - Michigan State University football game on Saturday, October 1?
The second graders conducted a survey by going to each of Trombly's 13 homerooms. They asked for a show of hands and tallied the students' responses. Once back in the classroom, the second graders totaled all the student votes, decided on the scale (one picture equals 5 student votes), cut out State/Michigan icons and put together a large pictograph of the results. By 53 votes, the greater amount of Trombly students predict that the University of Michigan will win the game on Saturday in Lansing. Time will tell. Go Wolverines - Go Spartans! |
