No class first semester. Foods II is offered second semester. This class explores regional cooking around the United States and cooking around the world. Class format is similar to Foods I. A notebook is required to keep all recipes and handouts. The text book is used for information about regional United Sates cooking and international cuisine from various countries Extra credit is available-Cooking at Home and Article Review Forms are in folders on my desk. Five extra credit samples are accepted each quarter. The Final Exam is a group project. Everyone in the group participates in presenting information about their chosen country and preparing a recipe from the chosen country for the group to eat on Exam day.
