CourageFirst - Courageous Persuaders Student PSA Contest
Create a 30 second PSA based on the topic of the Dangers of Alcohol. Prizes are in the form of cash scholarships. The grand prize is $3000.00.

MIPA
 Michigan Interscholastic Press Association
MIPA sponsors an annual contest related to categories related to broadcast journalism. Award is a certificate and recognition at spring conference.
Deadline Spring 2008.
 

DAFT—Digital Arts Film & Television

Deadline: Feb. 2008. Students can submit entries in a variety of different categories: Commercial/Station ID, PSA, Drug Awareness PSA, Documentary / Event, Artistic / Experimental, Sports, Instructional, Music Video, News Magazine, Teleplay, Animation video, Editing, Comedy, and Special Effects. Prize: Three levels of honors. The highest is Best of Show and having your presentation displayed at the DIA in May 2008. www.daftonline.org
 

National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences PSA Contest
 Student PSA contest. Deadline: TBA. The theme for the entry will be announced in the Fall. The final PSA must be 30 seconds!!  Prize: $3000.00 Scholarship, local Emmy Award tickets, job shadowing opportunities of industry professionals, and a plague given to you at the ceremony.
