Grading Policy

SRC Grading Policy for Skills Class 2008-2009

Parents may now monitor their student’s progress in skills class by accessing Pinnacle at the link below.

GRADING

Pass (G)/Not Pass (H) basis

The expectation is that most students will pass!

	The letter “G” indicates pass
	The letter “H” indicates fail in the Pinnacle program.

There will be a grade entered at the end of each week for skills class.

GRADING CRITERIA:

	3 points can be earned each skills class period each day
	15 possible points per week.

SCALE

10 or more points per week earns = G

9 or less points per week earns = H

CRITERIA FOR DAILY GRADE:

Each day the student has the option to earn points for the following:

1—student brings and monitors his/her assignment book

1—student works on academic subjects during the skills hour

1—student cooperates with peers and adults in the classroom
