Child Development: We have just finished a unit on pregancy and childbirth. In our newborn unit of study, each student has an opportunity to care for "Baby-Think-It-Over", our infant simulator.
Child Care: The Child Care class is making preparations for the Holiday season. We will be writing letters to Santa and decorating our room.

Fashion and Fabrics: The students have just finished their second projects. Students created a variety of drawstring and elastic topped pants. Flannel is the favorite choice of the season. Our last project for the introductory class will be a pattern of their choice. They may also decorate holiday gifts with our computerized sewing/embroidery machine!
Co-operative Education: Students are working in a variety of jobs this year. Some are employed at the Neighborhood Club, Grosse Pointe Pre-Kindergarten, in our public school "Kid's Club", or with the technology department. We also have students working in local businesses and restaurants. They are happy to have this income as they save for college and holiday expenses!
