Grosse Pointe Public Schools Planetarium

The Planetarium is located in the Performing Arts  building at North High School. It serves as the Astronomy lab room for North and South students.  Grosse Pointe Public Schools students in grades 1 and 4 visit the Planetarium each year as part of their science curriculum studies in Astronomy or Light and Color.

Classes from other schools can arrange for their own programs on a fee basis. Available dates are extremely limited.  All programs must be scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on weekdays during the school year. Call 313-432-3264 to schedule
a program.

Carolyn Welsch has been a loyal and enthusiastic volunteer at the Planetarium for many years!
