PARCELLS PICKS PARTICULARS

It's all about reading and recommending new library titles!              

To participate in Parcells Picks students will:

Þ    read a recently published book (2002-2007) *

Þ    Write the title, author and identify the genre (i.e. mystery) or subject (i.e. sports)  following the example below 

1^st paragraph~ indent & briefly (3-4 sentences) describe (summarize) the main plot of the book

2^nd paragraph~ indent & explain why you would recommend the book ~ include specific details

Þ    Reviewed by:  student name  

Type in Times New Roman or Arial 12pt & set margins as suggested below so it fits on the book die cut. Do not go beyond 5".

Open up a new WORD document and go to File - page set-up

                Set new margins  Top  0.5"   Bottom 5.7"

                             Left 0.5"   Right   4" 

Or...Slide the top ruler tab to 4 1/2" 

Þ   when done typing – proofread and spell check your work

Þ  save as ~ My Documents

Þ    name it “Parcells Picks” and click on save

     Þ    print in black and white and turn into Mrs. Lightbody
