College Recommendations
Each student must request college recommendations in person. This is not the job of the student's parent.
Each student will be asked to provide me with a hard copy of the student's resume. This does not need to be a formal, typed resume, but simply a list of activities that the student has enjoyed for the past three or four years. These may be school, church, or community-related activities.
Included with the resume, I require the student's name, the grade he or she earned while in my class, and a list of colleges that will be receiving recommendation letters. The student's telephone number should also be included in case I have questions.
A student may request other letters at a later date.
Students are asked to collect the completed applications and recommendation letters the Monday following the initial request. The student is responsible for delivering this material to his or her counselor or college.
