Here is just a little bit of information about me!
I grew up in Port Huron and graduated from Port Huron
Northern High School. I was very involved in National Honor's Society, SADD,
and volleyball. We were the Huskies and always dreaded facing Grosse Pointe! We struggled to win any of the games we
played against you guys. Now it is strange (but great!) to be on the
other side of the stands!
Once I graduated high school, I chose to attend Saginaw
Valley State University to earn my degree and
teaching certificate. After four years at Saginaw, I earned a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Mathematics with
a minor in psychology, and I also earned my
secondary teaching certificate. Toward the end of my university career, I
did my student teaching at Capac Jr./Sr. High School in Capac, Michigan and
enjoyed every minute of it! I taught 8th grade mathematics, high school
algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus.
This is my third year teaching in Grosse Pointe and I am very thankful for
the experiences that allowed me to get to this point here. I am so excited
to be here and look forward to spending many years here as well!

My husband Keith and I live in Chesterfield with our two puppies, Regis and
Lexie (pictured to the left). You will hear me talk about them often!
We love to watch hockey (we are HUGE Red Wings fans!), play Rockband, travel,
read, watch movies and TV, and hang out with our family and friends. |
