MR. RICHARDS E.I. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN:

 

 

  1. If a student is not following teacher directions or is disruptive, the teacher will give the student one warning.  If the student’s inappropriate behavior continues, the student will be sent to the self-contained EI room for the remainder of the period.  Teacher/Assistant should call ext. #3936 to notify EI staff.

 

  1. When the student arrives to the E.I. room, he/she is expected to continue and complete the academic work for that period.

 

  1. If the student chooses to be disruptive or not follow EI staff directions, the student will be given ONE warning to improve his/her behavior.  If the student’s inappropriate behavior continues, the student will be sent to a desk in the hallway to continue schoolwork for the remainder of the period.

 

  1. If the student’s behavior in the hallway is disruptive, unsafe, or should the student refuse to stay in the assigned area, the student will be given one warning.  If the student’s inappropriate behavior continues, the Teacher/Assistant will call an administrator.

 

  1. If an administrator determines that the student should not stay in school, the guardians will be called and a “send home time out” will ensue.  If guardian contact is not made, the student will serve an in school separation for the remainder of the day or until the guardians can pick him/her up from school.
