MR. RICHARDS E.I. CLASSROOM
MANAGEMENT PLAN:
- If a
student is not following teacher directions or is disruptive, the teacher will
give the student one warning. If the student’s inappropriate behavior
continues, the student will be sent to the self-contained EI room for the
remainder of the period. Teacher/Assistant should call ext. #3936 to notify
EI staff.
- When
the student arrives to the E.I. room, he/she is expected to continue and
complete the academic work for that period.
- If the
student chooses to be disruptive or not follow EI staff directions, the
student will be given ONE warning to improve his/her behavior.
If the student’s inappropriate behavior continues, the student will be sent to
a desk in the hallway to continue schoolwork for the remainder of the period.
- If the
student’s behavior in the hallway is disruptive, unsafe, or should the student
refuse to stay in the assigned area, the student will be given one warning.
If the student’s inappropriate behavior continues, the Teacher/Assistant will
call an administrator.
- If an
administrator determines that the student should not stay in school, the
guardians will be called and a “send home time out” will ensue. If guardian
contact is not made, the student will serve an in school separation for the
remainder of the day or until the guardians can pick him/her up from school.
