| Mission
Statement
|
 |
My mission is to instill
in all students a lifelong love of exercise. I want to teach all students,
no matter their ability level, the benefits of physical education. I will
establish high expectations for my students and in turn hold them
responsible for their actions. I want to show students I care by
demonstrating a strong passion towards physical education and have that
passion reflect in my teaching. |
 |
In my classroom, I emphasize the importance
of choosing a healthy lifestyle.
Students are encouraged to be active
—playing,
having fun, walking their dog, or playing a sport —every day for a minimum
of 60 minutes (recommended by COPEC, the Council on Physical Education for
Children). |
