Eighth grader honors classes: will follow the same curriculum as the regular eighth grade classes as required by the State of Michigan.   In addition, honors students will have more rigor and higher expectations to interpret Primary Source  documents, do more independent reading and more thoughtful higher level writing.  All Social Studies classes incorporate economics and civics as well as history and geography.

Current Events are due every Friday.  The form for 8th grade current events can be found by clicking below.

Important Rule: only three current event per quarter can be from a reputable website and be run from the computer.  All others must come from a newspaper or news magazine.   Articles must be attached to your completed form.
