I grew up in Eastpointe, MI and am a graduate of Regina High School.  I received my BA from The University of Michigan - Dearborn and my Masters in Library Science from Wayne State University.  Before coming to South I was the Media Specialist at Defer Elementary School here in GP.  Before that I was a children's librarian in a public library.  I am married to a Detroit police officer.
