The television programs of North and South combine efforts to produce a LIVE telethon aired over WGTV Channel 20 each spring. This purpose of this fundraiser is to provide money for additional television equipment and to award student. Students work toward upgrading the equipment in order to accelerate their knowledge and to improve programming. TV students serve as directors, graphic operators, audio engineers, camera operators, and even the talent. This 22 hour special event combines the efforts of students, teachers, parents, and community. It provides and opportunity to showcase the program and all the Grosse Pointe Schools.
