A bit about me...

In 1985 I graduated from Lincoln Park High School (Go Rails!) in Lincoln Park, Michigan. I attended Wayne State University via a Merit Scholarship, majored in Chemistry, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science degree in 1990. I graduated from Eastern Michigan with a Masters of Science degree in April 1996.

My first teaching experience came in the Detroit Public Schools, where I student taught at Murray-Wright High School for the Fall 1989 semester. Next, for the Winter 1990 semester I student taught at River Rouge High School, in River Rouge, Michigan. I received a permanent teaching position at Rouge High as soon as I graduated from Wayne State, and taught science in River Rouge until June 1994.

I started teaching at Grosse Pointe South High School in the fall of 1994. I am currently teaching Honors Chemistry and Chemistry.
