To share a distribution list in Microsoft Outlook:
- Open Outlook. Resize the Outlook window so that it occupies only part
of the monitor screen.
- From the View menu, select either the Folder List or
the Outlook Bar option.
- Start a new message addressed to those with whom you wish to share
a distribution list. Resize the message window so that it overlaps but
does not obscure the Outlook window. (You will have two windows open
on the screen and be able to see a portion of each.)

- In the Outlook window ("Contacts - Microsoft Outlook"), select the
Contacts folder in the Folder List or Outlook Bar. When this is done,
the distribution lists that you have made are displayed to the right
of the Folder List. They are distinguished by the small icon.
- Click on one of these lists and drag it to the message window that
is under the Outlook window. Release the mouse button and the distribution
list will become an attachment to the message.
- Click on the message window to complete a message, if desired, and
send.
To import a distribution list received via Outlook email
into the Contact folder:
- Open the message containing the distribution list attachment. Resize
the message window so that the Outlook window (Folder List) is visible
behind it. (You will have two windows open on the screen and be able
to see both.)
- Click and drag the attachment from the message window to the Contact
folder in the Microsoft Outlook window. Click on the Contact folder.
(The Outlook window will jump in front of the message window.) The new
distribution list will appear in the Outlook window to the right of
the Folder List.
- This list can now be used to send group messages.

To send a group message using a distribution list:

right corner of the Select Names box. Select Contacts.

with your message as usual.
