All students at North and South have access to
email as part of their computer accounts. The acceptable
use policy applies to the use of the email account as
well as to general computer use. All students should be familiar
with its rules and regulations. See
Student Computer & Network Acceptable Use Agreement (JCD-R).
What is my email address? The format for an e-mail address is as follows:
For example, if your student ID number is 90001548, your e-mail address would be:
A login screen will appear:
Enter your user name (student ID number) and the computer password you use to login to the network at school. The password may be case sensitive, so make sure the Caps Lock is off. Leave "Domain" blank. Click OK. Your email account will open, and the screen should look similar to this:
While the two interfaces vary in appearance, they both contain the
same options. You can send messages by clicking on New
Double click on a message to read it, or set up an address book by
clicking on New
